Ilene Tumi, MSW, HBCE gave birth to her first child on August 5, 2006 using HypnoBirthing techniques. HypnoBirthing allowed her to have a joyful, natural birth experience, leaving her passionate about it's philosophy and techniques. Because of Ilene's wonderful birth experience with her son Spencer, she wanted to teach HypnoBirthing to pregnant women and their birth companions so that they would also be able to have a positve, safe and easy birth experience. Ilene received her B.A. in Social Ecology, with an emphasis in Human Behavior and Psychology, from UC Irvine in 1992. In 1995 she received her M.S.W. (Masters in Social Work) from San Jose State University. She has worked in the hospital setting for almost ten years, focusing on geriatrics, cancer patients and the maternal /child unit. She met her husband Ray in New Zealand in 2003 and they moved to Las Vegas in 2005. Please call Ilene for more information and to sign up for classes!
