Marvelys Lopez is a caring midwife (MD from Venezuela) that turned into home birth midwife in 2007, after working briefly with Jill Colin, CPM. Based on her personal experience with the medical field delivering in hospitals, she realized that pregnancy & birth are normal, natural functions that a woman's body were made to do. Most women can have their babies without medical intervention, in fact less complications arise for mommy & baby when left alone to birth in a peaceful, smooth atmosphere like home. Marve has been practicing as a midwife with Jill Colin, CPM-since the summer of 2006.
